AI / Voice Calling Disclosure
Effective date: [Effective Date]
1. AI-Generated Voice and Responses
Kooi voice agents use AI to generate speech and responses in calls. They are not human. Responses can be unexpected, incomplete or wrong.
2. Recording, Transcription and Analysis
Calls may be recorded and transcribed, and AI may summarize, classify and extract information (e.g. dispositions, lead qualification). These outputs may contain errors and should be reviewed before use.
3. Customer Notification Duties
Customer is responsible for telling call recipients, where required by law or good practice, that: they are speaking with an AI voice agent; the call may be recorded and transcribed; and how their data will be used. Configure agent scripts and greetings accordingly.
4. Consent and Telemarketing
Customer is solely responsible for consent, permissions, opt-out handling, do-not-call checks, calling-hour limits, caller-ID rules and other telemarketing, privacy and recording laws for each call it directs. Kooi does not provide legal advice or verify compliance. Customer confirms these obligations at campaign creation and agent activation.
5. Third-Party AI and Telephony Providers
Calls and data pass through third-party providers (telephony, speech-to-text, text-to-speech, language models). Their performance and rules can affect call quality, delivery and availability. See [Sub-Processor List URL].
6. Appropriate Use
Use agents only for lawful business purposes. Do not deploy them to deceive, impersonate, pressure vulnerable people, give regulated advice (legal, medical, financial) without proper safeguards, or handle emergencies. Provide a route to a human and honor opt-out requests. See the Acceptable Use Policy.
7. Human Oversight
Monitor campaigns, review transcripts and adjust or stop agents that misbehave.
